Our ultimate goal is to provide our customers with an authentic Hawaiian feast that reflects the decades of traditions through our family’s recipes.
Our story began over sixty years ago when friends and family would travel to Ka’alaea, O’ahu to enjoy the Hawaiian lu’au. Before every party, George Padeken remembers gathering with his parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, and cousins under his family’s large mango trees to clean fish, cut kiawe wood, husk coconut, and prepare the pig for the imu.
Over the years, cooking for our family gatherings began to bring attention to our Hawaiian dishes. They became popular and often, our food was the highlight of the party. After many inquiries and referrals from our family members and close friends, GP Hawaiian Food was established. Today, George continues his family’s tradition of creating delicious Hawaiian delicacies through GP Hawaiian Food Catering.
